Since 2012, I have been Full-Time Professor of Music and Director of Guitar Studies at Collin College in Plano, TX.
Students in the program are trained in both solo and ensemble performance. I work with students of all backgrounds and perform with my students throughout the semester.
The following guitar classes are offered at Collin College:
-Class Guitar (a beginning guitar class, MUSI 1192).
-Private Lessons (applied lessons on the classical guitar, MUAP 1161/2261).
-Guitar Ensemble (students work together to create a program of various ensemble formations, MUEN 1137).
See videos below for samples of a recent concert and repertoire students learn in Class Guitar.

Fall 2023 Collin College Guitar Studies will launch Guitar Ensemble Assessment Day for guitar programs in the area. During this event, guitar ensembles will perform for a panel of judges and other ensembles, receive comments, get a rating, and a 20-minute coaching by one of the judges. In addition to the assessment, students will be able listen to guest lectures provided by local artists in the community, participate in a Q & A with our guest performer, and listen to a performance by our guest artist.
